NFSMW: Black Edition in Europe only for PS2

We received an answer from Electronic Arts Germany today: Need for Speed Most Wanted will be released in Europe for all platforms only as the regular edition. There will be only one Black Edition, which is for the Playstation 2. The Black Editions for PC and Xbox could not be localized because of limited resources of the studio.

This is quite unfair, since in North America the PC version will be released only as the Black Edition. We can only hope that the NFSMW Black Edition will be released later, maybe at christmas, but as far as we know there are no plans like that at the moment.

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.

Black edition is due for release on the PS2 only on the 25/11/05. I'm not sure what extras there will be in this edition of the game.
