Now it's official: Need for Speed Payback will be the name of the new Need for Speed this year and it will be released on November 10th, 2017!
EA also released the first trailer of the game:
In the game you will play three distinct characters united by one common goal: revenge!
You will get action-packed pursuits with the police, races and plenty tuning possibilities to fine-tune your performance through each of the five distinct car classes (Race, Drift, Off-Road, Drag, and Runner).
You can find more details on the official Need for Speed website:
EA published a new picture on their official Need for Speed Twitter-account. The teaser image shows a lot of fog or smoke, underneath there are the outlines of the city's skyline in which the upcoming Need for Speed might take place.
Apparently the outlines could show Los Angeles or Seattle, but we will know more at EA's Play Event in June.
Need for Speed 2017 with Offline-Singleplayer, Customization and Cop-Chases
Ghost Games released new details about the upcoming Need for Speed, which is currently under development and will be released by the end for 2017.
The focus of the next Need for Speed will be once again extensive customization and thrilling cop car chases, but also the action will be tweakes
Whether you’re checking out your freshly customized ride or smoking the competition in an event up in the canyons, you’re going to want a world that not only looks beautiful, but offers you the space in which to do the things you want. We’re dialing up the action and allowing you to tear up the tarmac, and dirt, to your heart's content.
Burn rubber as you throw a car around a corner sideways and floor it as you hit an epic jump away from the cops. We’re building the world, but what you do in it is the aspect that excites us most.
The maybe largest change will be the offline singleplayer-mode, which means you will be able to play through a single player experience completely offline, which also means you will be able to pause the game.
The new Need for Speed will be released in fall 2017 and further details will be announced at the EA Play 2017 in June, so stay tuned.
