 As the track Olympic Square the author Soulkeeper created a trackpack, where all tracks have a new sky. The download weighs 15 MB, but therefore you can drive NFS Underground at dawn. :)

 Again we have a new track with a new sky for Need for Speed Underground for you. Thie time ARTNFS converted the sky from the track "Tropical Heat" from Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 into "Market Street" in Need for Speed Undergroun. Logically the modified track has the new name "Street Heat". :)

| NFS U: Nominated at the Interactive Achievement Awards |

 The "Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences" gives this year the seventh time the "Interactive Achievement Awards" in 39 categories.
Electronic Arts can be happy, because its products were nominated 29 times. Need for Speed Underground is nominated in the category "Console Racing".
The Seventh Annual Awards will be given in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 4th, 2004.

| NFS U: Damage Model Mod? |

A community member "champus" is working on a mod for Need for Speed Underground, which adds a damage model, and influence of the damage on the performance of the car.
In my honest opinion I am a little bit sceptic with such announcements. Everybody who knows the thing with "PU-Modeler", knows why... :/
