The Need for Speed Movie hit the international theaters last week and in contradiction to the US start, the movie is quite successful in foreign countries, according to Box Office Mojo.
Especially in China the movie was the top-grossing film past weekend, outperforming its rivals.
It grossed over $41.7 million, which is 43% of its total international takings life to date, and significantly more than its total US domestic take over two weekends of $30.5 million.
With estimated production costs of $66 million, the movie should be called successful, at least financially. At IMDB the movie currently has a rating of 7.3, which isn't too bad.
The Need for Speed Movies with Aaron Paul, Scott Mescudi, Imogen Poots and Dominic Cooper rolls out this week to the cinemas of the US. Fitting this event, Need for Speed Rivals gets a new Movie Car Pack, which extends the game by the following cars, which are also in the movie:
All of these cars will be available for digital purchase for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 home entertainment consoles, and available for download on Origin for PC. Packs are sold separately for both Racers and Cops, or together in Complete Packs.
The Koenigsegg One:1 was reveiled today at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show: the name One:1 stands for the 1:1 relation between power and weight. With 1,340 horsepower the car weighs 1,340 kg.

With the latest update the car is availble in the game on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC.
