How to Drift

by marshen

Here you can see a RX-7 on the drift track 2 without any tuningupgrades.
Alternatively you can also choose other cars, but there I suggest to take upgrade level 3.

Generally you should never use the handbrake with the RX-7, because you get too slow most time. Additionally it seems to be as if manual gearing would be the best.
For example if you drive the Eclipse, you should use the handbrake in any case! (a friend of mine could do a 250k drift)
Once you enter the 180° curve, you should have at least 105 Km/h, but not faster than 120 Km/h. In the curve you don't have to steer very much. At the end of the curve drift as long as you can, and maybe steer in again. Then steer the other direction and on the street before the s-curve steer right and make a short drift. In the s-curve drift only in a small angle, to collect enough speed for the next 180° curve.

If you do that, drifts over 2 or more rounds with 50-100k points per round should be possible.
