 What a busy weekend: the onlinemagazine IGN.com published 35 new screenshots of Need for Speed Underground. But these screenshots were formerly released by Gamespot and are already viewable in our screenshots gallery. ;) But therefore IGN offers 6 new movies.
But not enough, Fileplanet released 4 official Ingame movies of Need for Speed Underground. Additionally the offer 3 new gameplay movies, which were recorded from the demo disc. Two of them are 20 MB big, and one "just" 13 MB.
At Fileplanet the servers are quite full, and additionally a registration is required. At the moment we can offer you Gamershell as a mirror, but they only offer a package of the 4 smaller movies, not the 3 big ones. Eventually I can upload the movies on our server until the evening.
The german site NFS-Players also offers a gameplay movie, which is with its 5.5 MB not too big for 56k users. ;)

The onlinemagazine Gamespot had the possibility o play Need for Speed Underground on all platforms. In the preview they mainly describe the drift mode, which is the most innovative feature in the game. So they mention, that in drift racing the score depends basically on your speed, how long you hold your drift and how sideways your car is during your skid.

 Although there were some signs of life of EA Racing, it is finally over now. On October 20th EA Racing will be closed:
On October 20, 2003, the Need for Speed High Stakes and Porsche Unleashed servers will no longer be in service. After a fun run of over 3 years of online racing with High Stakes and Porsche Unleashed, Electronic Arts has made the difficult decision to close these EA Racing servers in order to focus resources on future games. We want to thank the many thousands of racers that logged on to these servers and who made the online beta test a great success.

Because more and more clans are founded to the upcoming game Need for Speed Underground, I had the idea to make a clanlist, to get an overview which clans exist. Whoever wants his clan listet, should send me a mail.

| NFS U: PC Preview @ Giga |

The german TV show Giga Games wrote a preview of the PC version of Need for Speed Underground. Unfortunately it is written in German, but it does not contain anything really new. The only interesting thing is, that the author of the preview mentions, that there will be a damage model in the final version!

Electronic Arts published on the official Need for Speed Underground website the first 9 screenshots of the Gameboy Advance version.
