| NFS C: Collector´s Edition also in Europe |

 EA seems to have learned from last year's NFS Most Wanted. In Europe the NFSMW Black Edition was only available for Playstation 2, but with Need for Speed Carbon things should be different.
Amazon.de (Germany) added the Need for Speed Carbon Collector's Edition for PC and PS2 to their sortiment. For PC there will be a Collector's Edition and a normal version - released on DVD.
We can expect Amazon.co.uk to update their sites too.
Exclusive Collector's Edition Content - Featuring three new cars, ten specially tuned cars, six new races, ten exclusive vinyl kits, and a bonus DVD containing behind-the-scenes footage on the making of the game.

At least in the USA Electronic Arts will Publish a Collector's Edition of Need for Speed Carbon on the platforms PC, Xbox360 and PS2. They added to the product description in the EA Store some new information:
Exclusive Collector's Edition Content - Featuring three new cars, ten specially tuned cars, six new races, ten exclusive vinyl kits, and a bonus DVD containing behind-the-scenes footage on the making of the game.
EA hasn't announced a Collector's Edition for Europe yet, but we hope there will be more available than last year's Black Edition for NFSMW just for PS2...

| NFSMW: Control Panel 2.0 |

 Already the old MW Control Panel for Need for Speed Most Wanted was quite popular with more than 30.000 downloads. Now FormatC sent us a new version (2.0) of his tool which contains some bugfixes and new features.
The MW Control Panel is a program which allows you to control many settings in NFS Most Wanted like graphic settings, language switching, extensive profile-editing functions, the Black Edition Patch and the Trainer 11+.
The new features in the version 2.0 are as followed:
- Backup-Manager (Create, Manage, Read)
- Optional creation of auto-backups
- integrated hex-editor
- unlock upgrades

| Easteregg Search - The Winners |

 Finally the winners of the Easteregg Search on NFS-Planet are chosen! Many visitors participated and I got plenty of positive feedback...maybe we'll do something like this next year again?

| Easter Egg Search at NFS-Planet (Update) |

This year to easter we have something special for you: an easter egg search! The easter bunny hid on the whole NFS-Planet website 10 colorful eastereggs, just like the one you see on the right. Wherever you see such an egg, click on it and it will be marked as "found".Of course you'll need a NFS-Planet account and will have to be logged in. Once you managed to find all 10 eggs, you automatically participate on the raffle where you have the chance to win one of the following prizes:

In our download-section you now can find the ProfileCreator & ControlPanel by FormatC in the version 1.05. The author added the black edition patch, so you're able with this program to update a regular version of Need for Speed Most Wanted to a Black Edition.
Need for Speed is getting 10 years old, so our affiliate NFSUnlimited decided to make a 10 years of NFS Giveaway.
Need for Speed Most Wanted is going to be released today (24th November) everywhere in Europe. As you may know, the Americans get the NFS Most Wanted Black Edition for PC, but in Europe there is only the regular edition. The Black Edition is coming only for PS2.
For the lazy one's among you we have a savegame for Need for Speed Most Wanted Black Edition (US) - made by Jim Wallace. This savegame file takes you from #15 to #9 on the "Blacklist." This is significant because now all boroughs/neighborhoods are now open.
