 Need for Speed World is a free-to-play game, which means everybody will be able to download and play the game as long as you want, without having to spend any money.
However, money doesn't grow on trees, so not everything can be for free in this game. Once you reached a certain driver level, you won't be able to gain any additional Rep to progress. You can still play though, but in order to continue progressing in the game, you will need to purchase the Need for Speed World Starter Pack, containing the following items:
- Access to continue progressing your Driver level
- $20 USD worth of SpeedBoost
- Item Bundle of Power Ups (available to all newly created drivers in an account)
- One exclusive vehicle(available to all newly created drivers in an account)
The cost of this Starter Pack ist not determined yet, but be sure to check out the official website for further information once the game is being released this summer.

NFS: World
It was to good to be true, i leaved a comment on the news on the official website (see exemple):
I already said in in the past, you guys ho worked on World have wasted your time. If the word "Paying" comes in, everybody take their hands off the game, and thats not a surprise, you guys had to focus your selfs on a real game on a game disc, not this crap.
My Opinion:
1. A waste of time.
2. Costs EA a lot of money.
3. Fortunately, we have Criterion Games with a real NFS game.
