Need for Speed Rivals is limited to 30 frames per second, even if you have a high-end PC and could handle more. With this little trick you can increase the number of frames per second to 60: Start the file NFS14.exe in the command prompt (or create a link) with the parameter "-GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60" (without quotation marks). Update: Appended the parameter GameTime.ForceSimRate, which solves the problem that the game becomes unrealistically fast, when using only GameTime.MaxSimFps.. Although it creates new problems, when the PC is not able to render the 60 FPS constantly.
